if you’re tight in your hammies then having the hips up on the roller will help with exploring the end of your range - thanks gravity!
Version Two could be considered a Shoulder Bridge but I like being able to pay attention to one leg (& the same side hip) at a time.
Having the roller as a target for the bicycle gives your body tactile feedback.
