Yes I think i am a bit more shut down in the front of the pelvis....more of a posterior tilt so the opening up in the front should be good for that then the glutes will be able to push through more strongly as the ext. rotation improves. I was quite badly pigeon toed as a kid and had special shoes made for me.....makes sense. Saved me a trip to the chiropractor!!

So ..my flat part of the pelvic curl is in the sacral area.....but I found your cue of lengthening the spine and drawing the tailbone up the calves incredibly helpful. Then i was still flat but I noticed that my inner thighs are tight so I did some p/c's with my feet together and my knees out and then came back to the original exercise and hey presto...unlocked!!! I immediately did a roll up ( such a struggle with a flat sacrum) and it was a piece of St Patrick's day cake!! Yaay....any idea what managed to unlock it? Thanks...I'm loving the cues and imagery.

So glad that you liked the cue and if I had to guess and if I’m understanding your comment you did the p/c’s in external rotation? I’m imagining that the unlocking of the sacrum came because the pubic bone was able to spread while the sij’s compressed a bit? (not a technically kinesiological description in any way, shape, or form, lol). Maybe you doing that just gave the sacrum some different feedback? Some new information? What do you think?
