The teaching is going well. I'm incorporating a lot of fascial release to open up space to strengthen in to. If that makes sense. Its a balance because especially as we get older we should be doing weights. Apparently. I think I weigh enough that my body weight is sufficiently challenging for my muscles!! People don't have a lot of time or cash to do multiple classes so I try to incorporate different elements in the class. Do you do pure Pilates?
I’d say that what I teach depends on who I teach. Generally it’s all about efficient movement so not 100% pure Pilates but def Pilates if that makes sense?
Love the tights...thanks for sharing about honoring your sister ....makes today a special day. Why have I never heard (listened?) to the cue of lifting the chest first.... makes it much more doable. I suppose it depends on your back activation....if I am stooped over I would need that cue more than someone who naturally stands straighter!!! Yaaay.

I’m so glad that you found a new insight with the cueing - yay - how’s your teaching going, btw??
