I realised that it’s been a while since I filmed a movement sequence and to be honest I’ve missed it. So, here’s what I hope will be the first in a series I’ve named “Movement Morsels” (as always if you have a better, catchier name feel free to share it with me - I do so love your feedback)
Anyhoo, I envision these *ahem* morsels as being non Pilates based; they’re about giving your body some really easy mini flows for the chance to feel refreshed and a bit more alive - dare I say vibrant.
And now for what’s on offer today. Basically we’re circling through the joints moving from low to high.
We’ll begin with the feet and ankles before adding in the knees. Next we’ll circle the hips, twist the ribs, and finally circle the head two ways - with the neck fully relaxed and supported.
Give this a whirl at the beginning of your day, maybe while your coffee’s brewing? You could also use is as a little pick me up if you’ve been sitting at your desk for a few hours.
Try to do this barefoot if you can but doing it in shoes is totally viable as well. I’m on a mat which provides some nice squoosh and remember to be close to a wall if you need some help with your balance.
Let me know how you go or if you have any requests for the focus of the next Movement Morsel. You can hit reply or the button below.
Have a fabulous week!

Gussied up for some “yard” work - safety first!
Two morning views from almost the same place - we’ve had some foggy starts.
Our bathroom’s getting remodeled but luckily we have a bathtub on our verandah - it’s a rough life…
