This is unexpected - I don’t know what exactly to write here. I’m never good at introducing myself at the best of times so it’s not really a surprise.
Here goes.
A few years back I set myself the task of writing a weekly long form newsletter to my email list. I found I really enjoyed it, giving me an excuse to “deep dive” on topics of interest to me and by extension my audience. After about a year I realised that what I wrote was extremely fleeting (hello delete button) so I set myself the task of turning my musings into blog posts.
pilates + life + health was the name I came up with and I’ve been a #pilatesblogger ever since.
Yes, I’m a Pilates teacher. I’ve been teaching for so long I look at the world through that particular lens.
On the blog pretty much anything I wrote could be filtered through, or circle back to the world of Pilates or movement (and what couldn’t I still wrote about since I had the all encompassing word “life” in the blog title).
I still love to use my skills as a teacher to guide people on their movement journeys but a funny thing happened once I started writing. I found that the pebble that is Pilates expanded into ever widening circles once it was dropped into the pool that is my mind (mind pool, mind pond? maybe I can trademark that, lol).
So, in the spirit of this ever evolving version of myself, my outlook feels better suited to be less Pilates-centric and more all encompassing in the ways we can live a happier, healthier life.
So, welcome to The Vibrancy Society where I will be talking about all the things I reckon make up a life filled with vibrancy, vitality, and verve.
Thanks for reading,
